Rabtt, which means ‘connection’ in Urdu, is a voluntary youth organisation that aims to promote independent and critical thinking. Rabtt brings together students and mentors from different classes of society through educational camps, fostering an environment free from judgement and control, introducing new fields of knowledge and broadening the scope of future possibilities for students.
This film shows the work Rabtt did during two summer camps in 2012 in collaboration with Enlightened Pakistan, at Pilot Government School for Boys and St. Johns’s High School Youhannabad. The students were engaged in Mathematics, Physics, English, Computers, Public Speaking, Art, Dramatics, World History and Sports. Students and teachers interacted with renowned guest lecturers, such as Dr Arfa Syeda and Omair Rana. The work was featured in an article in the Pakistan Express Tribune.
