The story of ADP – be the change, the rest will follow

The Association for the Development of Pakistan (ADP) is a volunteer-driven, engaged philanthropic organisation that funds carefully selected development projects run by local NGOs in Pakistan to support economic empowerment, the environment, healthcare, education and energy.

Founded in 2003 by a group of students and young professionals in Boston who wished to have an active role in developing Pakistan, ADP began by supporting small scale initiatives in health and education. In the aftermath of the 2005 earthquake ADP discovered its true potential when it raised and disbursed more than $370,000 as part of disaster relief efforts, and oversaw the reconstruction of a hospital, homes and a school as part of its earthquake rehabilitation program.

This film shows some of the projects ADP supports on the ground and their plans for the future.
